Money on My Mind - Sam Smith Getting to Know You - SpazzKid I Can't Keep Up (Feat. Will Heard) - Tourist Clair De Lune (Motez Remix) Feat. Christine Hoberg - Flight Facilities Good day! How's your playlists looking lately? I hope your staying warm in bed with a nice tea and a scented candle on the side. First up is Money on My Mind which I heard repeatedly on the radio and only decided I liked it after I heard it after a ridiculous amount of times the radio engraved it into my system. Does anyone else have those songs ? It's a cute song considering at first I thought it was one of those "I don't care bout the girl just the green". Something about monetary value ruining things hits a soft spot for me for some reason I do understand it's important but sometimes i feel like it's overvalued so this song made me warm. Spazzkid's song came up when I was watching a Buzzfeed video on Japanese trends. The song reminds me of clouds and balloons, it's got that really light feel that Owl City used to have in it's early days and it's a good mind clearing song. Think of blue skies and running around. I'm made of star - That line is my absolute favorite. I'm obsessed with stars. I digress. I don't know what exactly this song means but it sends me the idea of just wanting to keep going and keep pursuing but just needing that extra push. When you can't quite keep up and you just need that hand. Clair De Lune, and not the one you think. This is another one of my background/driving songs that I like to pop on if I don't exactly want to pay much attention to the world and kinda just zone into what I'm doing. It's sort of monotonous and not outstanding but just one of those nice background songs if your feeling productive. Happy Monday! xx. Move On - Garden City Movement Settle Down (Young Ruffian Remix) - 1975 Undress U - Giraffage Habits of My Heart (Sufjan Stevens Remake) - Jaymes Young As you can probably tell, I've been listening to Majestic Casual's channel quite a bit lately :) These tunes are a little more on the smoother chill step side of life. Something good to listen to when you're driving or if you're out having an afternoon chill outside. Move On is a lovely relaxing little song that goes really well with tea and an empty agenda for the day. It reminds me of watching cars from a balcony at dusk in the city. It's the type of song you clear your mind to and just absorb the atmosphere. I'm not the biggest fan of The 1975, they're kind of take or leave for me. The Young Ruffian remix of this however is so appealing to me for some reason. It slows the song right down and throws away that pop feel to the song and adds a bit of bass giving it that rnb feel. I really love this remix because it reminds me Bone Thug n Harmony for some reason and I just really love that beat throughout the track. Undress U really took a while to grow on me but it did eventually, it's a slow start and it's a little different with the vocals. Once you listen to it a couple of times it turns out to be a really chilled and relaxing song. Lastly Habits of my Heart. I really really love this song cos of the beat that resonates within it, it's a really simple song with clear lyrics it's really just easy listening. Enjoy your week guys! xx.
