Recently, I had the pleasure (thanks to a diamond) to go see the sydney symphony and soloist Thiabaudet play Gershwin. The day started with a morning breakfast date at one of our favorite spots 'Jet Cafe' in QVB.
Excuse the blurry face.
Lachlan got Pancakes with bacon (not on the menu but he did ask the chef if it was possible) which is one of his absolute favorite things in the world, personally i don't quite get it. And I had Mushroom Bruschetta with parmesan and a herb drizzle. YUUUM    
Unfortunately we're not allowed to take photos inside the room of the Opera House but it was a beautiful experience and really pulls out past memories of studying Music in High School.

We ended up at Opera bar and just let the day unfold from there.

The beautiful scenery, the serene views and the smell of dumplings and tea in the air makes this little alcove a great getaway for an hour or two.   Getting used to the camera for the first time is my one and only diamond below. He did a fantastic job as photographer for the day and was generously supplied with tea and dumplings as payment. Music Monday is my series of favourite music or amazing diamonds that I've found during the week. I'll try as much as I can to post consistently however I can't entirely promise every monday every time.Hope you enjoy this, let me know what you think and let me know if you have any suggestions. So guys this week is a little different, I've got double the amount of videos because I wanted to emphasize that although there are some amazing covers out there the same talent can create beautiful songs. Chester See Madness (Muse Cover) Chester See was the first youtube musician that I found at around 16/17. I'm pretty sure the reason why I subscribed to him was the same reason that every other gushing girl subscribed to him. But despite that charm, that smile and that unbelievable body, he is just bursting with talent. His voice, although a little bit husky, is strong and versatile to any genre of song and his amazing piano and song writing skills are just amazing. Andrew Garcia Andrew Garcia was someone I floated around, I always heard him featuring in Chesters songs but never got around to subscribing to him. The day I finally did though I was completely blown away. Andrew literally has the voice of an angel, you know that line in step brothers where John C Reily says, "Your voice is like Fergie mixed with Jesus", that was exactly my reaction he is actually amazing. His vocal range is just infinite and has so much power to stab you right in the heart to take your breath away. Andy Lange . Andy Lange, working both with Chester See and Andrew Garcia is one of the best producers youtube has ever seen. Multi-talented to say the least, Andy Lange is very much the most creative producers ever! Also having a voice of his own and his own strong musical input Andy just can't keep his hands away from talent that he can mould and recreate to a beautiful sound. The Piano Guys What Makes You Beautiful (One Direction Cover, CLICK IT IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD) All of Me (Jon Schmidt Original) The Piano Guys, a little different and steering away from vocal talent. These guys are insane. They seriously are, how they think of making music out of a whole piano is just amazing, they manage to turn any song into something you want to shove into a wedding. They're talent is so raw and beautiful it sometimes brings me to tears, if this is what they sound like on the internet they would be absolutely amazing in person. These guys are just so amazing, they're any musician's inspiration. So that's this week guys, let me know if you have any favorite youtube musicians! xx. Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sunny, delicious floral—energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth.
I recently received the new Marc Jacobs perfume 'Honey'!
The new fragrance hit the stores recently bringing another scent to the infamous line! First impressions prior to smelling the perfume is definitely about the bottle and over all packaging. With an almost identical bottle to Marc Jacob's Dot, Honey seemed to have a more approachable look to it. Being a lovely 'honey' color and using whites and yellows the bottle just screams S/S, much like daisy, and I'm just drawn to it like a bee to honey. The bottle is very round and just, I guess cute to say the least, it's not feminine or petit just round, small and cute.   The first time I smelt this perfume I couldn't quite decide if I loved it or not. It wasn't as sweet as I expected but had a rather citrus-y tone to it. There was a strong base tone of vanilla that I could recognise and it truly left me a bit unsure for a while. After wearing it the perfume seemed to get a little better as it really worked into my skin, I started to smell the more floral scents that were in the fragrance and the consistent basal tone of honey carried on throughout the whole day.  It's a moderate smell, it's not as soft and light as Daisy but it's not so strong as Fame or Alien. This is the perfect daytime perfume to go with light colors and those warm nights out, this perfume gets me excited for the warming weather! Let me know what you guys think. xx. All of Me - John Legend Sunny Days - Josh Raiden This Is Gospel - Panic at the Disco Decipher Reflections From Reality - PlayRadioPlay! ~~ Hey guys, so half of this music monday will be a little bit fruity and the other half a little bit heavy. First up on our list we've got one of John Legends new releases from his slow coming album, the song All of Me like a few of his other songs is very much based on your Significant other. The song is a little bit more fast paced than your usual 'love song' but it's filled with just as much love and emotion. The thing I love about this song is that he doesn't go on about how someone is super perfect but he just accepts the imperfections. Next we have Sunny Days a cover by Josh Raiden. If it sounds familiar and you swear it sounds just like... It is! It is the theme song from Sesame Street slowed down and acoustic, first heard on Scrubs in the Sesame Street special. It's actually quite sad when sung like this and a little bit lonely actually but it is still a nice song non-the-less. On to a different tone the new song by Panic at the Disco brings all the old memories and all the old love for Brendan Urie's amazing voice. The new direction of the previously 'Alternative' scene between both Panic and Fall Out Boy has definitely re-roped their old fans to an exciting new style. Speaking of 'old memories', Decipher Reflections From Reality brings me to nostalgia street in my mind. This number by PlayRadioPlay! was my absolute favorite song about 5 years ago, I used to listen to it on repeat. Even listening to it now I don't get that 'ugh why did I ever like this' cringe that I get when I look at old clothes that I used to wear, I get the "OMG I USED TO LOVE THIS SONG" feel. This song reminds me of summer and I think it's perfect to rekindle as the weather warms up again. I used to do Soccer, so that was training and the game after that I started once a week of group training sessions which are INTENSE and making me sore for a week. This year I want to keep up the training sessions and gym on the side and just work through the pain! And hopefully by next year I can get back into Soccer! I'm excited to start and incredibly scared at the same time, I'm the laziest person ever so I'm hoping this will get me off my ass to go start and become an active healthy person. That means, I have to watch what eat ... 
I fucking love my food and I love to cook !
Controlling my diet is going to be a bitch and a half because I intend to continue cooking to refine my skills and get better and better so I can prepare to go to a patisserie college in the future.

Anyway, I never intended nor had any intention to ever join a gym because I thought I would be too good for it but alas C2K stole my heart! It has the most amazing atmosphere and a great mix of equipment, but the thing that sold me were the classes, ranging from cycling to yoga it really encourages you to give everything a go. The change rooms and lockers are all safe and they have a recovery spa!! In celebration I hit Nike up left right and centre and geared up! It's one of my favourite brands considering it's the most comfortable and the sizes fit me a lot better than a lot of other brands particularly with sports bras, plus everything looks freaking amazing. So if any of you are in C2K, come and say hi i'll probably be tired and gross and really useless but i'll muster up a smile and a confused look because I won't know what's happening. xx. Hey guys! So tuesday is my usual outfit day as it's my only full day at uni so it's the one day I take the opportunity to add some statement to my clothes. That morning I had an 8am class and it was a little chilly in the morning but I knew it would heat up in the afternoon, my fellow morning hoes were massively glaring at me though probably thinking "what the hell is she wearing she looks ridiculous" in their trackies, they probably turned into a ball of sweat after it warmed up. I've gotten to a point where I no longer care about how ridiculous i may or may not look. So these socks always bring a bit of attention, a little disclaimer, it's not me promoting or influencing any intention for anyone who recognises this symbol, it's just socks guys just chill. So this may or may not be a regular thing but I met up with my beauts cousin Ay for breakfast and we had a little mini shoot at my uni.

Hey guys So this week I decided to highlight a few of the slower songs that I've been listening to lately in the lead up to the start of the second semester and also the start of a new job! I also won't be seeing my favourite diamond next weekend (we only get to see each other once a week) because he's a boss and is going on a work trip. le sigh- Take On Me was an amazing song as the original but when I heard The Blanks do a cover at the concert last year in Sydney, it brought me to tears. This song has to be played at my wedding! We Can't Stop, the cover by some of the YTF boys is just the cutest song and that video clip is disturbingly accurate. But let's be honest girls, you can't help but gush at every pool scene that Chester See and Josh Golden have in that. I-pause-every-time *drool* Candles in the Sun is an interesting song, personally I love it but it can be a hit or miss with most people. Makin Good Love, this is the sexiest song I swear. Beanies!
Now I know winter isn't that cold here in Australia but to me 20 degrees is absolutely freezing.
I love my beanies, the add a lot of statement to an outfit as well as both hiding and highlighting your hair effortlessly.
Although this is my favorite winter piece, it's also something that I always pull out all throughout the year. Currently I'm trending the really chunky beanies that add that little bit of omph and street to any outfit.
However they can also add a lot of girlyness to an outfit if you prefer the slouchy knitted kind.
Beanies are just so versatile and add so much to an outfit that it's worth considering even in S/S season!

This is the only thing I have been listening to. I LOVE IT That drop is just hnnggghh.. Now I don't go clubbing often but with this song I know I definitely would and not just a little bit, but I would completely go insane for it. Okay so not everyone is as busy as the first lady but we're all busy in our own senses and we often neglect our skin. I know that my skin goes through trauma around this time of the year. I have very dry skin and my T zone is a war zone at the moment and to be honest I'm really lazy with moisturising. Throughout the busy weeks where you got exams due and work and weekly exercise and a social life, thats where I drop the skin maintenance, thanks to Nuffnang's Product talks I got a chance to redeem myself Often the shower is the only time I get a moment to myself to completely relax and when I can pick up this little number and get both a mask and a wash out of the one product.
