Hey guys,
hope you're all staying nice and warm this winter! I went out with my girl Ayy (it has been forever) and we took a couple of shots before having a well good catch up .With both of us working like cray plus uni our calendars just never seem to line up.
Winter hasn't been too bad this season and this year I've been sticking with simple and basics cos I'm saving the $$$'s so my buys have to last the trends.
Neutrals will be in forever and ever and I can never get enough of them but that pop of color is the one to make you stand out.
Special mention to my mum for knitting me this infinity scarf, I've been wearing it non stop!

On a rainy Sunday we thought we might take one of our favorites a visit and have a gander at the 19th Biennale exhibiting at the MCA.
Once described as "World's Tastiest Dumpling" Din Tai Fung is definitely one of my favorite eats in Sydney. I have never once gone in and came out disappointed only full and satisfied.
The service at Din Tai is impeccable, the system that they have is flawless and every staff member is always on the ball and willing to help.
Hot and Sour Soup with Shredded Pork
The infamous and delicious Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings)
Definitely one of my favorites
Nice big cup of hot tea and Beans and minced pork.
Our suggestive looking Mango dessert.

At the MCA 'You imagine what you desire' is the theme for this year's Biennale. Not photographed, my favorite part of the exhibition was a big empty room with projections of nature and viewers are invited to lie down and soak it all in. As we went around the museum I found this year's combinations of work at the gallery to be surprisingly simple yet very empowering. Quick selfie break. I found that the works seemed to be very colorful this year, simple and also relatively light. Atmospherically it felt like a play house and you didn't really have to stare at anything too long and ponder your reality, identity or overall position in life, it was light, simple and warming. xx. Hey diamonds,
If you've been following my twitter or instagram or just over-viewing any of my general posts, you'll notice a trend.
Beanies!
Now I know winter isn't that cold here in Australia but to me 20 degrees is absolutely freezing.
I love my beanies, the add a lot of statement to an outfit as well as both hiding and highlighting your hair effortlessly.
Although this is my favorite winter piece, it's also something that I always pull out all throughout the year. Currently I'm trending the really chunky beanies that add that little bit of omph and street to any outfit.
However they can also add a lot of girlyness to an outfit if you prefer the slouchy knitted kind.
Beanies are just so versatile and add so much to an outfit that it's worth considering even in S/S season!
xx.

I tend to dress a little nicer if I know I'm going to the city lately since it's got the perfect vibe with fashion weekend coming up! Spending a little time with this quality fashion killa too. Sorry for the Shotty photos, lighting was not on our side today. ![]() See you around xx.
