First Impressions
Before even getting this mascara, I have already heard the most amazing reviews about it and I was generally stalking it every time I went past it in a store. Packaging wise the mascara tube was very sleek and sexy with just the right amount of curve, perfect marketing for what it supposedly gave I'd say. The box it came with didn't scream benefit (surprisingly) but just generally had the amazing reviews and statistics that the mascara gave.
The Product
The thing that was raved on about the most was the wand of the mascara having the tips right at the tip so you can really concentrate on hard to reach places. Actually hearing about it reminds me of the L'Oreal Explosion Mascara, having the same concept. The formula has no specific smell but seems to have a thick consistency rather than a wet one.
Positives
The mascara most definitely adds a load of volume and brings so much attention to the lashes. After taking the mascara off my lashes still feel full and healthy. Very pigmented and fast drying.
Negatives
The product can be quite clumpy and gloopy if you're not careful. Upon taking the wand out of the barrel there is always an excess on the tip with the smaller spikes, A little bit pricey All in all the mascara is one of the better ones that i've used that show instant lift and amazing effects. The only thing about living in Australia is the high prices, this mascara is about $48 a pop. I like to use this mainly on a night out because it really gives your eyes that extra lift that you need without the need for piling on the falsies. Yum~ The theme this month was Pretty in Pink, adding that little pretty color to bring a smile and add a little pop of color to your daily face. This month's theme was "Spring in your step" which seems perfect to welcoming in the warm weather and it's all about having a clean start which is perfect for the warming weather. Unfortunately with all the busy-ness around me I didn't manage to take photos myself but I did use the products so I'll at least put up a review for you beauts. So this is the review from what I had in my Bella Box. Let me share with you a bit of mine. This valentines day was spent as a quiet day and ended up at a nice restaurant having a nice dinner. In saying this, I've never been to this restaurant before so that starts off my 1001 list. I'm getting my way through it, I've started my jar full of stars, reading through 2 books and now have started my new restaurant visits. ![]() My Valentines outfit Read more » Labels: 1001, cold rock, Day Zero Project, food, ice cream, outfit of the day, plush, restaurant, reviews, valentines |
